Role Description
Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer
Location: Guildford
Time Commitment: Flexible
The Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer will play an important role by providing companionship to someone supported by SeeAbility in Guildford. The volunteer will spend time with the individual, visiting them at home and engaging in activities they enjoy, such as chatting over tea, reading books, or playing board games.
Skills required:
Please note that applicants must be over 18 years old. To apply, click the 'apply' button below and complete the application form. After receiving your application, a member of our Volunteering Team will contact you for an informal chat and to discuss next steps. A DBS check and two references will be required before confirming the role. Volunteers will also need to undertake safeguarding training and any role-specific training.
