Role Description

Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer

Location: Bristol

Time Commitment: Flexible

The Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer will play an important role by providing companionship to someone we support in Bristol. You will spend time with them, visiting in their home and engaging in activities they enjoy, such as chatting over a cup of tea, reading books, or playing board games.

  • To have a good sense of humour and love to chat
  • To be punctual and reliable
  • To handle information confidentially in line with data protection procedures

To ensure safety, a DBS check and two references are required before confirmation. You will also need to undertake safeguarding training and any specific training related to the role.
