Role Description
Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer
Location: Aldershot, Hampshire
Time Commitment: Flexible
The Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer will play an important role by providing companionship to someone we support in Aldershot, spending time with them, visiting them in the home, and doing activities they enjoy. These might include chatting over a cup of tea, reading books, playing board games, etc.
Skills required:
Please note that you will need to be over the age of 18 to apply for this role. To apply, click on the 'apply' button below and complete the application form. A member of our Volunteering Team will contact you for an informal chat and to explain the next steps. To ensure safety, a DBS check and two satisfactory references are required before confirming the role. As you will be volunteering with vulnerable individuals, safeguarding training and role-specific training are also required.
