Swan Women's Centre Befriending Service is recruiting female volunteers who will support women over the age of 18 in Sefton to take steps towards engaging in their community, socialising and accessing services independently.

What we're looking for

We are looking for female volunteers who are caring, non-judgmental, reliable and respectful.

Responsibilities

• Each volunteer will have weekly contact with a supported woman for 12 months. This could involve help with using public transport or going shopping, company during activities or hobbies, appointments regarding welfare benefits or housing, or meeting for a coffee and a walk.
