Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a caring Before & After School Club Playworker to support a primary school in the BL2 Bolton area. You will help supervise children before and after the school day, and deliver engaging activities in a friendly, safe environment.

The role offers flexible hours and competitive PAYE rates, with access to CPD courses, ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant, and possibilities for long-term school-based roles.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school or childcare.
• Friendly, patient and approachable.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children before and after the school day in a safe environment.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities.
• Support children's social and emotional development.
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety policies.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Assist with setting up and tidying away equipment.
