Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Production Operative in an abattoir environment at our beef processing site in the United Kingdom. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday starting at 6:30am (finishing around 1:30pm–2:30pm).

The hourly rate is £13.59, with overtime at £17.00 per hour and potential weekly bonuses (£30–£80) based on performance. Responsibilities include processing tasks such as packing, weighing offal, and handling trays up to 20–25kg.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to perform tasks
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Focus on Health and Safety and Food Hygiene

Responsibilities

• Remove hides, heads and internal organs as required
• Trim and prepare carcasses for processing, inspect for defects or contamination
• Separate edible and non-edible by-products
• Maintain workstation cleanliness during operations
• Follow food safety, hygiene and biosecurity procedures
• Work in line with health and safety regulations
• Wear required protective clothing and PPE at all times
