Job description

Nursery Practitioner - Full Time or Flexible Hours
Location: Bedford
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £12.50 - £15.50 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you thrive in a creative, play-based environment? We're recruiting a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive Early Years setting in Bedford.

You'll work with children aged 3 months to 5 years, including those with suspected SEND needs. Whether you're newly qualified or experienced in Early Years, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in childcare.

Role Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging activities that support early development
* Work collaboratively with a dedicated Early Years team
* Support children with personal care, mealtimes, and routines
* Contribute to safeguarding and maintain a safe, nurturing environment
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents/carers

Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (required)
* Enthusiastic, caring, and proactive attitude
* Knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
* Previous nursery experience (desirable but not essential)
