We are currently recruiting for a Care & Support Worker to join our team at Caremark. Caremark is an established and highly regarded home care provider offering home care, personal support, home help and companionship services. Responsibilities
  • You will help our customers to live as independently as possible in their own homes while supporting them to make their own choices. This includes:
  • Personal Care – Support with care needs in line with the individual care plan (e.g., helping with dressing, toilet needs, bathing, shaving, skin, hair, foot care and dental hygiene).
  • Daily Living – Assisting with daily activities such as medication prompts/administration, meal planning and preparation, aiding with eating and drinking, supporting mobility, laundry, tidying and cooking.
  • Community – Assisting customers to access the community and attend activities per the personal care and support plan (e.g., shopping, leisure activities, appointments) and liaising with health professionals as needed.
  • Companionship – Building professional relationships to support emotional, social and spiritual needs while encouraging independence and choice.

You will also be responsible for supporting the Field Care Supervisor to implement field-based quality control systems and to provide support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

  • Monitor, supervise and mentor all Care & Support Workers in the field.
  • Provide support to all Care & Support Workers in the field.
  • Monitor all customers for service and Care & Support Worker satisfaction.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in customers’ homes.
  • Encourage and identify opportunities for ongoing professional development.
  • Ensure that all written reports and administration are up to date.
Candidate Requirements
  • Ideally NVQ/QCF level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • At least 1 year of experience working for a domiciliary/home care agency.
  • Organised, methodical, and with a good eye for detail.
  • Flexible around working schedules, roles and responsibilities.
  • Team player with strong people skills.
