The Textile Designerwill be responsible forcreating unique andappealing designs for their range of home textile products, including duvet covers, curtains, and other soft furnishings. Theideal candidate willhave a keen eyefor colour, pattern, and current trends inthe textile industry.

The Role:

• Develop and create newtextile designs and patterns forour product line
• Collaborate with our design team tobrainstorm and conceptualize ideas
• Research current trends and consumer preferences in thehome textile industry
• Create sketches and digital renderings ofdesigns using CAD software
• Create sketches and digital renderings of designs using CAD software
• Select appropriate colours, patterns, and materials for each design
• Prepare design presentations for internal stakeholders and clients
• Work closely with the production team to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design or a related field
• Proven experience in textile design, preferably in home furnishing
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and CAD programs
• Strong understanding of textiles, fabric construction, and printing techniques
