Job summary

eXPD8 Ltd. in Cardiff is seeking a Beauty Retail Merchandiser to join its field team and launch a new beauty brand in high street stores.

You will ensure shelves are fully stocked, set up displays, follow planograms and maintain stock levels while building strong relationships with in-store colleagues. Inductions start mid October and hours are early mornings in the CF10 area.

You'll receive induction and ongoing training, with flexible hours during a trial period to support the launch.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail.
• Able to work with limited supervision and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable with manual handling.
• Confident using a company tablet to access briefs and capture photos.

Responsibilities

• Arrange products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Ensure stock is fully on shelves and monitor stock levels.
• Follow planograms and merchandising standards; ensure consistency.
• Set up promotional displays and signage communicating prices and offers.
• Build good relationships with store staff and report feedback to clients.

eXPD8 have got an exciting opportunity to join us as a Beauty Retail Merchandiser based in the Cardiff area. You will be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, helping launch a new Beauty brand into a high street store. You'll be responsible for driving sales by ensuring the stands are completely full of stock as these brands sell fast!

About the role

This role will primarily be based within the Cardiff, CF10 area.

Confirmed working hours: 10

Monday: 07:00 - 10:00

Tuesday: 07:00 - 10:00

Thursday: 07:00 - 11:00

This is a trial for a new brand so flexibility on hours and days may be needed. Inductions for this role will commence mid October.

• You will arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.


• Ensuring as much stock as possible is out on shelves in order to drive sales.


• Monitor stock levels and order products to avoid shortages.


• Become an expert on Health and Beauty, including brands, products and trends.


• Follow the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.


• Follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.


• Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.


• Build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.


• You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores!

• You have experience in merchandising or retail.

• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients


• Be comfortable with a bit of manual handling! You'll need to move and arrange our products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.


• Are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks
