Job summary

eXPD8 is recruiting a part-time field merchandiser for Primark Bournemouth. You’ll help launch a Beauty brand in-store, keep shelves full and well presented, and drive sales across busy high-street locations.

You’ll work on stock placement and brand presentation to maximise impact. You will work 10 hours weekly, including Sun 06:00-09:00, Mon 06:00-09:00 and Fri 06:00-10:00, with a fixed-term contract ending on 28 December 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail.
• Ability to work to set early morning schedules.
• Comfortable using a company tablet for briefs and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Product placement and replenishment on shelves to maximise visibility and sales.
• Develop knowledge of Beauty products, brands and trends.
• Follow merchandising standards and planograms for consistency.
• Set up promotional displays and signage for offers.
• Build relationships with in-store colleagues and store managers.

About the Role

You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, helping launch a new Beauty brand into a fast-paced high street store. You'll be responsible for driving sales by ensuring the stands are completely full of stock as these brands sell fast!

• Sunday 06:00-09:00
• Monday 06:00-09:00
• Friday 06:00-10:00

This is a fixed term contract that ends 28 December 2026, however there would be opportunity for the right candidate to move to permanent work.

There may be opportunities to work across other categories including, but not limited to, Books and Entertainment, Toys and General Merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Product Placement and Replenishment
  • You arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
  • You ensure as much stock as possible is out on shelves to drive sales.
  • You monitor stock levels and order products to avoid shortages.
• Beauty Knowledge
  • You become an expert on Health and Beauty, including brands, products and trends.
• Compliance and Standards
  • You know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies, procedures and health and safety guidance.
  • You follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
  • You set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts and special offers.
• Strong communication and relationship building
  • You build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, department and store managers.
  • You provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores.

• You are comfortable with a bit of manual handling; you will need to move and arrange our products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
• You are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks.
