Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Beauty Casual Sales Assistant to join our team in Rushden. As a key member of our beauty department, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their beauty product needs and contributing to our sales targets.

• Welcome and engage with customers in a warm and approachable manner
• Offer expert advice on beauty products, demonstrating thorough product knowledge
• Assist customers in finding the right products to suit their needs and preferences
• Perform makeup applications and skincare demonstrations when required
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, ensuring proper product placement and presentation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and product innovations
• Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets
• Collaborate with colleagues to create an inviting shopping environment
• Participate in stock management and inventory tasks as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Strong sales ability and a passion for meeting targets
• In-depth knowledge of beauty products and current industry trends
• Ability to provide personalised recommendations based on customer needs
• Experience with cash handling and operating point-of-sale systems
• Basic visual merchandising skills to maintain attractive product displays
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Previous retail experience, preferably in the beauty industry (desirable)
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently when required
• Enthusiasm for learning about new products and beauty techniques
