Job summary

SEPHORA UK in Sheffield is seeking a Beauty Advisor to join our team. You’ll deliver personalised beauty advice, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere for every customer, helping them discover new products and routines.

You’ll handle cash and stock, support daily store operations and participate in training and merch updates while staying ahead of beauty trends. Flexible availability for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, customer service or store operations (cash & stock).
• Strong passion for makeup, skincare and fragrance with product knowledge and techniques.
• Warm interpersonal skills and ability to build client connections.
• Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to lift/carry boxes and stand for extended periods.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional service and personalized recommendations.
• Target-driven mindset with a desire to exceed expectations.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on techniques, routines and product benefits to build confidence and enhance experience.
• Stay up to date with beauty trends and Sephora’s full product assortment.
• Provide expert product guidance across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
• Drive sales by proactively connecting with customers and promoting Sephora services and loyalty program.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain a tidy cash area.
• Receive, check and organize deliveries, supporting stock counts and inventory.
• Replenish stock and maintain appealing product displays; remove expired items.
• Support visual merchandising and promotional displays.
• Collaborate with Beauty Advisors and participate in training and meetings.
• Assist with store opening activities such as unboxing and stock prep.
