Job summary

RocketFin is seeking a Beacon Engineer to join a strategic programme for a major energy client. You will develop and maintain Beacon solutions in a fast-paced trading environment, working with teams on real-time decision-making across multi-commodity portfolios.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Beacon platform, an understanding of trading concepts, and strong analytical skills. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain industry exposure and build critical skills in live energy trading.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with configuration, scripting, and model development in Beacon.
• Understanding of power, gas, or financial trading.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models and workflows within the Beacon platform.
• Support risk analytics functions including P&L and scenario analysis.
• Work with teams to translate business requirements into solutions.
• Assist with trade lifecycle processes across commodities.
