Job description

About us:

Linklaters is a multi-national commercial law firm, with 31 offices in 21 countries worldwide.

We have been named as one of The Times’ Top 50 Employers for Women, recognised by Stonewall as a top employer for LGBTQ+ inclusion, and by the Social Mobility Employer Index as a top employer for advancing social mobility.

We recognise that one size does not fit all. Our goal is to embed flexibility across our firm by giving everyone the opportunity to work in an agile way, whether as a regular pattern or on an ad hoc basis, and we will be happy to discuss this further.

We love hearing from anyone who is enthusiastic about changing the legal industry. Not sure you meet all qualifications? Let us decide! Research shows that women and members of other under-represented groups tend to not apply to jobs when they think they may not meet every qualification, when, in fact, they often do! At Linklaters, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and strongly encourage you to apply.

About the role:

As BDM Senior Advisor for Energy & Infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in driving growth in this sector. You will support the development and execution of business development strategies, ensuring alignment with firm-wide objectives. By leveraging product insights and data-driven intelligence, you will identify opportunities, foster client relationships, and influence senior stakeholders to drive profitable revenue growth. Working closely with global BD teams and the wider BDM function, you will help us remain connected to our global network.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement BD plans in the Energy & Infrastructure space that align with global and local objectives.
  • Coordinate with global teams and leverage resources to maximise growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to product-focused BD plans to facilitate cross-selling and create market-leading pitches and campaigns.
  • Conduct market analysis and horizon scanning to strengthen client relationships and inform BD activities.
  • Use data-driven insights to spot opportunities and develop compelling narratives for stakeholder buy-in.

We are ideally looking for:

  • Substantial experience in BD and marketing, especially within the Energy & Infrastructure sector.
  • Expertise in creating engaging client documentation, including pitches.
  • Proven ability to deal with senior management and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong data analytics skills and a client-centric mindset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities, both internally and externally.

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
