Job description

About us:

Linklaters is a multi-national commercial law firm, with 31 offices in 21 countries worldwide.

We have been named as one of The Times’ Top 50 Employers for Women, recognised by Stonewall as a top employer for LGBTQ+ inclusion, and by the Social Mobility Employer Index as a top employer for advancing social mobility.

We recognise that one size does not fit all. Our goal is to embed flexibility across our firm by giving everyone the opportunity to work in an agile way, whether as a regular pattern or on an ad hoc basis, and we will be happy to discuss this further.

We love hearing from anyone who is enthusiastic about changing the legal industry. Not sure you meet all qualifications? Let us decide! Research shows that women and members of other under-represented groups tend to not apply to jobs when they think they may not meet every qualification, when, in fact, they often do! At Linklaters, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and strongly encourage you to apply.

About the role:

As a BDM MarTech & Innovation Senior Manager, you'll play a critical role in enhancing client engagement and streamlining processes with market-leading technological solutions. Collaborating across teams and acting as a pivotal bridge between BDM and Data & Technology functions, you will ensure our marketing technology strategy aligns with firm-wide objectives. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the subject matter expert globally on all BDM technology and innovation matters.
  • Develop and execute the BDM tech and innovation strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead the management and optimisation of our BDM tech stack, including products such as Salesforce, Sitecore, Matter Explorer, and Pitch Perfect.
  • Drive enhancements in digital client interactions, ensuring responsiveness and consistency.
  • Oversee change management processes for new technologies and drive adoption across the firm.
  • Evaluate emerging technology trends and their potential impact on business development and marketing.
  • Manage vendor selection and relationships, ensuring compatibility with our long-term strategy.
  • Champion the digital transformation of the BDM function.

We are ideally looking for:

  • Extensive leadership experience in bridging business and technology within a complex B2B environment.
  • A demonstrated outcomes-driven, big-picture mindset with sharp attention to detail.
  • Proven success in implementing and optimising marketing technologies.
  • Experience with change management and technology adoption on a global scale.
  • Knowledge of emerging marketing technology trends and their business implications.
  • Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to influence effectively across a matrix structure.
  • A track record in leading digital transformation initiatives.

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
