Overview

Business Development Specialist — London (Hybrid). Salary & Benefits: Up to £60,000 (depending on experience). Sector: Legal.

We are seeking a highly talented and proactive Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional organisational skills, sound judgement, and a passion for driving strategic initiatives across multiple offices and stakeholders.

As a key member of the Business Development team, you will coordinate and support a wide range of BD plans, projects, and initiatives. You will work closely with lawyers and staff at all levels, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within scope.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritise and manage multiple BD projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Drive projects from development through to completion.
  • Produce high-quality work across formats (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Coordinate responses to ad hoc assignments from senior leadership.
  • Track and report on BD initiatives to ensure strategic goals are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
  • Create and maintain tracking tools and reports.
  • Support other BD and firm-wide initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years' experience managing mid-to-large scale projects.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment across business units.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when needed.

  • Work Environment: Moderate noise level, occasional travel, evening/weekend hours may be required.
