Linklaters LLP is seeking a BD Senior Advisor for Private Equity to join the Business Development and Marketing function on a six-month fixed-term contract. You will drive growth through strategies aligned to Private Equity priorities, collaborating with lawyers and global teams.

You will leverage market insights, identify cross-selling opportunities, and strengthen client and stakeholder relationships while delivering high-quality input to pitches and panel submissions. Hybrid London-based role.

Formación

• Proven BD experience within Private Equity, ideally in legal or professional services.
• Strong understanding of Private Equity market and trends.
• Experience supporting the development and delivery of BD strategies with growth opportunities.
• Analytical and commercial skills with market intelligence, data and technology usage.

We are looking for a BD Senior Advisor, Private Equity to join our Business Development and Marketing function on a six-month fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in delivering BD strategies that drive growth across Private Equity and align with the firm's wider client, sector and strategic priorities. Using market insights and data-led intelligence, you will identify opportunities, support cross-selling and help strengthen client and internal stakeholder relationships, working closely with lawyers and colleagues across our global BDM function.

Duties and responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of Business Development plans for Private Equity, helping to drive growth and align activity with the firm's wider strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with global BD teams to ensure UK Private Equity initiatives are connected to global strategies, priorities and growth objectives.
• Work across the wider Business Development and Marketing function, including Client and Sector teams, to identify opportunities and support targeted go-to-market activity.
• Deliver Private Equity, sector and client growth initiatives, identifying and facilitating cross-selling opportunities across global practices and product areas.
• Support the development of win strategies, pitches and panel submissions, providing timely, high-quality input to strengthen the firm's position with priority clients and prospects.
• Use data-led insights and market intelligence to support horizon scanning, opportunity identification, pipeline management and targeted client development.
• Analyse market developments and external trends to help shape BD priorities, initiatives and growth opportunities across Private Equity.
• Support the effective use of MarTech, data infrastructure, global processes and shared services to deliver proactive, targeted insights and efficient BD activity.

Qualifications

• Proven business development experience within Private Equity, ideally gained within a legal or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of the Private Equity market, including relevant transactions, fund formation, portfolio companies and wider market trends.
• Experience supporting the development and delivery of BD strategies, with the ability to identify growth, client development and cross-selling opportunities.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, with experience using market intelligence, data and technology to identify opportunities and inform BD activity.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and colleagues across global teams and functions.
• Experience contributing to pitches, proposals and client-facing materials, alongside an understanding of global professional services processes and shared service models.
