Job summary

GSK in the United Kingdom is seeking an Associate Director, Pipeline Project Management for Business Development to lead R&D due diligence, contracting, and integration. You will partner with BD, Alliance Management, and R&D to align timelines, resources, and costs to support timely, informed decisions.

The role spans multiple therapeutic areas, requires 7+ years in R&D or drug development, 3+ years in global PM, and experience with Planisware or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in R&D, drug/vaccine development or related field.
• 3+ years in a global project or portfolio management role in pharma.
• 2+ years using Planisware, MS Project, or similar tools.
• 2+ years assessing risk, budgets, and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Provide R&D project management throughout diligence, contracting, and integration for BD opportunities.
• Develop integrated cross-functional development plans for BD opportunities, aligning strategy, timelines, costs, and key value drivers.
• Facilitate cross-functional evaluation of development and integration scenarios, identifying risks and mitigating strategies.
• Liaise with BD SMEs/functional leads to ensure planning and knowledge transfer pre-deal, during contracting, and post-deal.
