The Role
As a BD & Marketing Advisor, you will support the BDM Manager and Senior Manager in assisting the London Banking practice. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing BD&M plans, client targeting, and profile raising. You will coordinate daily London-based BDM support, enabling the Senior Manager to focus on global initiatives. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in crafting and executing BD plans aligned with the Banking strategy.
- Serving as the primary contact for all Banking pitch requests, ensuring high-quality drafts and overseeing the process.
- Acting as the main liaison for local partners for all BD & Marketing needs, including client alerts, credentials, mailing lists, and CVs.
- Maintaining and updating Banking marketing materials and credential lists.
- Supporting the management of the Banking BD portal and internal communications.
- Developing and implementing Banking BD initiatives for client targeting, product-specific growth, and profile enhancement.
- Overseeing submissions for directories and awards to key publications and media outlets.
About You
To be considered, you should have:
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a transactional or finance-focused practice in a law firm.
- Proven ability to produce accurate and high-quality RFPs/pitches (preferred but not mandatory).
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with legal or professional services firms.
