Job summary

IP Support, a leading international IP firm based in London, seeks a commercially minded Business Development Executive to drive growth across the UK and Europe. You will partner with partners and fee-earners to shape client and referrer relationships and promote the firm’s capabilities.

You’ll work in a BD-led role focused on events, targeted marketing, content creation and cross-office collaboration, coordinating pitches, proposals and client development plans with the European marketing team.

Qualifications

• BD, client relationship management or marketing experience in professional services (legal services preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce client-facing materials.
• Highly organised with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Confident engaging with partners and stakeholders at all levels.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM and marketing tools experience is an advantage.
• Experience in an international or multi-office environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support partners and fee-earners in developing and delivering BD initiatives
• Research target clients, sectors and referrer networks to identify growth opportunities
• Encourage cross-office collaboration and cross-selling
• Coordinate pitches, proposals, presentations and client development plans
• Plan and deliver client events, networking activity and industry conferences, from logistics through to post-event follow-up
• Contribute to content, credentials and client-facing materials, and support campaigns, digital and social activity
• Track opportunities, maintain BD records and report on activity and outcomes
