Job description

BD and Marketing Manager role in a large international law firm. Focusing on their litigation group. Line management responsibilities. London with hybrid working.

This popular international law firm is looking for a Business Development and Marketing Manager to join the firm’s litigation group, focusing primarily on their commercial litigation groups. The role will be supported by and manage a Senior BD Executive. The firm has a great culture and a solid history of developing the team and creating progression opportunities. This is an incredibly Partner-facing role, with fantastic visibility in the firm.

Key duties include:
  1. Working with the litigation partners on developing the BD plans for the group;
  2. Leading on key initiatives such as the firm’s global regulatory group growth;
  3. Managing RFP responses and key pitches in this space;
  4. Identifying cross-selling opportunities working with the BD team;
  5. Working with the PR and comms teams on profile raising and news items;
  6. Managing and executing key awards and rankings;
  7. Managing events for the team, globally where needed;
  8. Managing and identifying sponsorship opportunities for the group;

This role would suit a BD professional with at least 7 years of experience, ideally within legal. Ideally, candidates will have experience of disputes or a comparable practice group such as regulatory or competition, as well as experience of working on international initiatives.
