We are seeking a Business Development (BD) and Marketing Executive to work based in either our Chatham or Canterbury office, with regular travel between the two locations. This is a part-time role (22.5 hours per week) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will project manage and coordinate various marketing and business development activities for the Advisory service line, focusing on event management and content support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating targeted marketing events, including invitations, communications, and liaising with external suppliers.
- Supporting business development efforts by assisting with BD plans.
- Reviewing and proof-reading articles and marketing content.
- Managing website content updates and drafting social media posts to enhance external profile.
- Providing administrative and project support to fee earners and BD managers.
- Assisting with marketing budget management and ROI measurement.
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting BD pipeline tracking and reporting.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners for seamless project delivery and consistent branding.
Candidate Profile:
- A personable, confident professional who is proactive, well-organized, and able to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and ask questions for clarity.
- Several years of marketing experience, preferably in professional services or similar.
- Interest or experience in event coordination, content creation, and business development.
- Ability to manage a varied and dynamic workload.
- Strong communication and copywriting skills, with attention to detail and quality.
