The Corporation has invested in 56 terminals, including 49 container terminals, all over the world.

COSCO SHIPPING Lines (UK) is looking for a BCO Trade Analyst to establish and maintain relationships with UK exporters and importers, primarily manufacturers and key industry sectors such as commodity trading, automotive, avionics, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, securing bookings, and expanding tender business, particularly in UK-Mediterranean trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with direct and indirect UK exporters/importers.
  • Drive new business growth in line with company KPIs.
  • Support inbound/outbound teams and assist in HQ rate negotiations.
  • Monitor market competition and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Prepare reports, RFQs, and coordinate contract negotiations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and improving service quality.
  • Work closely with global HQs in Hamburg and Shanghai to manage pricing, forecasts, and vessel space.
  • Meet sales targets and support broader sales initiatives when required.
  • Travel as needed for client meetings and business development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Professional experience within a shipping line, with a strong focus on Mediterranean trade lanes.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proactive commercial sales and pricing mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate level or above).
