The overall BCBS239 programme spans globally including resources from our Data Management, Risk, Finance and IT teams.
BCBS239 Business Analyst responsiblities:
- Analyse and interpret BCBS239 regulatory requirements to ensure compliance within the organisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory frameworks and solutions.
- Document business requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements in line with BCBS standards.
- Definition of user stories
- Collaborating with the wider data family, including analysts, engineers, and product managers
- Monitor project progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Support the creation of reports and documentation required for regulatory submissions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for BCBS239-related matters within the organisation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BCBS239 regulations and industry best practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful BCBS239 Business Analyst should have:
- A solid background in the financial services industry, particularly in banking.
- Experience across a range of data & analytics disciplines (e.g. data governance, data quality, business intelligence, data engineering, ad hoc analytics) and a passion for using data to improve business outcomes
- Demonstrable experience as a Technical Business Analyst, System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Demonstrable experience using of the tools, principles, and best practices techniques appropriate to requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.
- Experience of business analysis working within an agile working environment
- An outstanding problem solver who has an analytical mindset, is inquisitive and excellent with technology enabling a creative approach to solution scoping and delivery.
- SQL skills to support requirements and data analysis, ideally including both raw and aggregated data with the ability to review transformation logic
- Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Appreciation of data modelling techniques (e.g. dimensional modelling, data vault)
- Strong knowledge of BCBS239 regulations and their practical applications.
- Experience in analysing business processes and delivering regulatory solutions.
- Proficiency in creating clear and concise documentation for stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Competence in managing multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
