Join us as a BBUK Healthcare Relationship Director at Barclays, where you'll be primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients to support their business needs and acquiring new clients within the healthcare sector.

To be successful as a BBUK Healthcare Relationship Director, you should have experience with:

The role is based in Manchester and will require regular travel within North-West England.

Purpose of the role

To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It's the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.

Accountabilities
  • Management of client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance, supporting data analysis from various sources to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Design of customized solutions addressing clients' specific needs, incorporating a range of bank products and services.
  • Communication of the value proposition, justification of recommendations, and negotiation of mutually beneficial terms.
  • Provision of guidance to clients on financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management, and wealth strategies, along with market updates.
  • Assessment and management of financial, legal, and operational risks, implementing measures to minimize potential losses.
  • Documentation of all client interactions and transactions to ensure transparency and support product development and overall strategy.
  • Monitoring client satisfaction, revenue, and other metrics to evaluate relationship management effectiveness.
