Advanced Innergy Solutions Ltd (AIS) in Aberdare, UK is expanding its battery testing services within automotive and energy sectors. The Battery Test Engineer will help design, run and optimise tests, and deliver clear reports on results.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to align requirements, develop new capabilities, and uphold high health and safety standards in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Qualifications

• BSc in engineering field with professional qualifications.
• Experience with the design, test and build of battery test solutions.
• Experience with electronics and test equipment associated with battery systems.
• Experience with CAN communications systems and setup of vehicle logging integrated systems.
• Able to perform data analysis with standard automation tools associated with battery testing (i.e. Vector, MATLAB / Simulink, C and excel).
• Qualified to work on high voltage DC (automotive) systems.
• Able to effectively prioritise in accordance with set deadlines.
• Be a collaborative team player.
• Able to operate calmly within a reactive and changeable delivery environment.

The role:

AIS as a global leader in testing services, is now further expanding its testing services in and within the automotive and energy sectors. As part of this, AIS is seeking a Battery Test Engineer to service these testing sectors.

What will you do as our Battery Test Engineer?
