The Battery Technician Lithium Line is responsible for performing various tasks to set up and operate equipment to complete the recycling process of lithium batteries, ensuring the machine produces high-quality products, runs smoothly at capacity, and is properly maintained. We believe in employee development and will provide opportunities for training and growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure health & safety is the top priority by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.
• Set up equipment daily for operation.
• Operate equipment according to SOPs.
• Maintain and clean the filter press.
• Make adjustments to equipment as necessary to improve performance.
• Operate forklift to move finished products.
• Comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Clean equipment and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Knowledge of machinery and tools.
• Understanding of operating procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Lockout/Tagout experience.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required.
