Battery Tech

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

1. Perform battery changes to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
2. Ensure that all equipment is maintained to guidelines/standards.
3. Assist in understanding and establishing or improving preventive maintenance and overhaul schedules for all equipment and mechanical systems within the project.
4. Perform preventive maintenance on site equipment.
5. Maintain a safe work attitude by continuously evaluating work place risks.
6. Convey thoughts and recommendations orally and/or in writing to supervisors, contractors, and others in order to solve building-related problems.
7. Assist with maintenance and operation programs/schedules for all equipment.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

1. Must be able to work in varying facility conditions.
2. Must be able to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
3. Strong customer service orientation.
4. Stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pump, tools, ladders) and ability to safely install rigging/lifting device, operate equipment.
5. Lift and carry objects of up to 50 pounds.
6. Must be available on weekends and evening hours.

Hiring Range: $17.65 - $23.40 (per hour). A candidate’s experience and knowledge as well as the geographical region in which the position is located may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position.
