The Battery Technician EV Teardown is responsible for providing a safe, proper, and complete teardown of electrical vehicle batteries for further processing on the Lithium Line.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure health and safety by following warehouse safety procedures and processes.
  • Set up equipment daily.
  • Inspect electrical tools daily and teardown electrical vehicle batteries for processing according to SOPs.
  • Sort battery components into correct storage containers.
  • Properly label containers for storage and shipment.
  • Comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Basic electrical experience.
  • Ability to operate equipment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
