Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Cambridge based innovative materials company focused on accelerating global transition towards sustainable growth. As their newest Battery Researcher, you will join their pioneering R&D team working towards sustainable batteries and consumer products.

This role would suit someone with a PhD and at least 2 years’ experience in industry or as a postdoc researcher, working with lithium-ion batteries. In this role you will get the chance to work on product development all the way from R&D to material processing and electrochemical testing. You will be responsible for testing novel production technologies and characterizing battery materials’ physical and electrochemical properties.

If you have experience in the following, we would love to hear from you:

  1. Characterizing chemical, physical and electrochemical properties for battery materials
  2. Developing new battery materials and sound knowledge of energy storage applications
  3. PhD in Material Science, Electrochemistry or something similar + 2 years minimum industry or postdoc research experience
