Qualifications

We're Hiring: BMS System Engineer – Validation Focused

Location: Warwick, UK

Department: Energy Platform Controls – BMS Section

Do you thrive at the intersection of system design and test validation? Are you ready to bridge both sides of the V diagram and drive the future of electric mobility? We’re looking for a Battery Management System (BMS) System Engineer to lead our Test Engineering Team with technical insight, precision, and a collaborative mindset.

What You’ll Do:

Be the technical leader and go-to person for test strategy and execution

Translate system-level requirements into robust, traceable test cases

Collaborate closely with system engineers, software, and hardware teams

Drive test coverage analysis, process improvement, and peer reviews

Help evolve our test tools and automation frameworks

What You Bring:

Degree in Electrical/Systems Engineering or similar

Deep knowledge of BMS architecture (SOC, SOH, thermal, diagnostics)

Experience with tools like CANoe, Vector, MATLAB/Simulink, Polarion/DOORS

Strong understanding of ISO 26262 and functional safety

Excellent team collaboration and communication skills

Bonus Points:

5+ years in BMS, automotive, or embedded systems testing

Python/CAPL scripting, automated testing experience

ISTQB certification
