Battery Electromechanical Design Engineer

Location: Peterborough

Duration: 12 months

Work Schedule: 5 days on-site, 08:30-16:45, with a Friday finish at 16:15. Flexibility required for global meetings; flexible start/end times offered.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
2. Experience in producing electric powertrains for retrofit applications.
3. Proficiency in Creo and electrical harness development.
4. Experience in electrical harness, BDU, electrical component, and hardware design.
5. Knowledge of risk assessments, including DFMEAs.
6. 3D CAD design experience for electrical system components, assemblies, LV harnesses, and HV cables.
7. Strong understanding of electrical system design and hardware integration.
