Job summary

Fawkes & Reece (North) seeks an experienced Bathroom Fitter to work on a social housing project in Barnsley. Start date: 21st September. Duration: Long term until March 2027. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (40 hours per week).

Duties include ripping out old bathroom suites; installing baths/shower trays; fitting wash basins and toilet cisterns; tiling 3–4 courses; painting and plastering where required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Bathroom Fitter/Plumber, preferably with social housing exposure.
• Own transport and own tools are required.
• Ability to provide two checkable references.

• Laying 3-4 courses of tiles
• Ideally perform light painting and plastering

We are seeking an experienced Bathroom Fitterto work on a social housing project across Barnsley.

Job Responsibilities:

It will include everything in a bathroom except floors and electrics. Please see below.

• Ripping out old bathroom suites
• Installing baths/shower trays - dependant on the property
• Installing wash hand basins and toilet cisterns
• Laying 3-4 courses of tiles
• Ideally do bits painting and plastering

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Plumber/Bathroom Fitter
• Ideally some social housing experience
• Own Transport
• Own Tools
• Must be able to provide 2 x check ablereferences if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before
• Street parking available
