Job Description:

6-month Fixed Term Contract

Knottingley Plant

B&F team member, operating the loading shovel and department vehicles, accepting deliveries, stock management supporting activities required for the B&F function.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the loading shovel to transport cullet around the yard area.
• Maintain stock of cullet in the yard area and to appropriate silo.
• Communicate with supervision and work colleagues to maintain an effective communication flow.
• Identify problems and maintain operational delivery systems for bulk tipper, cullet air discharge tanker and bulk bag material deliveries, alongside onsite support team.
• Carry out housekeeping in accordance with company hygiene rules and LSS manufacturing.
• Comply with company health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Department Testing of materials and glass required for process.

Required skills / qualifications:

• Ability to complete material acceptance procedures and testing including cullet acceptance.
• Ability to operate a loading shovel and department vehicles.
• Ability to maintain delivery systems and material storage including manual procedures.
