Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is recruiting a Basting Room Operative for our Bromborough site. The role focuses on safe, efficient shift operations, following SOPs and Health and Safety criteria. You will record brine injection data, complete daily plans, and maintain a clean, audit-ready workstation.

Previous production/basting experience is preferred. Flexible, 5 days out of 6 Monday–Saturday shifts are required as part of the role across Pilgrim's Europe’s iconic brands and product ranges in the UK and

Qualifications

• Experience in production/basting is preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and Health & Safety criteria.

Responsibilities

• Control brine injection weight and record data in the Quor system.
• Ensure all daily production plans are completed.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation; clean as you go.
• Report non-standard conditions to minimise waste.
• Maintain audit readiness and comply with GMP and 5S standards.
• Wear PPE and follow health and safety procedures.

We are currently recruiting for a Basting Room Operative to join our site in Bromborough. The main purpose of the Basting Room Operative is to ensure the safe and efficient running of the shift, following the correct SOPs and Health and Safety criteria. Your job will also include (but not limited to)

• Brine injection weight control recording and transfer to Quor system.
• Ensure all plans are completed daily.
• Clean as you go, to make sure cleaning schedules are adhered to and your working area is clean, tidy, and safe.
• Report non-standard conditions immediately, to minimise waste.
• Ensuring department is always audit ready and in line with our GMP and 5S standards.
• Wearing correct PPE and ensure all tasks are done by following health and safety procedures.

Flexibility required to work any 5 days out of 6 days (Monday till Saturday).
