Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Baseline Availability Work Package (BAWP) Manager to join our team in Portsmouth, VA. This onsite position involves managing Navy Maintenance planning and ensuring material readiness for surface ships.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of relevant experience in Navy Maintenance or Modernization, holds a Bachelor’s degree, and is proficient in Microsoft Office. Additionally, Navy maintenance experience and a PMP certification are preferred.

This role requires strong leadership capabilities and effective communication skills, as well as the ability to manage complex organizational structures.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in Navy Maintenance or Modernization Availability Planning.
• Experience managing personnel as a team leader or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Support Baseline Availability Work Package (BAWP) Division at SURFMEPP.
• Ensure Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) requirements are scheduled and tracked.
• Utilize Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP) to ensure CMP database accuracy.
