Job summary

Deloitte Talent Solutions seeks a highly experienced Basel IV Risk Assurance VP for a Glasgow-based contract role, working office-based 2-3 days per week with some remote flexibility. The role supports Basel 3.1 implementation across capital, market, credit and regulatory reporting, providing second line of defence oversight and independent assurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operational Risk, Regulatory Risk, Internal Audit or Regulatory Reporting in large financial institutions or professional services.
• Strong understanding of Basel frameworks and Basel 3.1 regulatory capital requirements.
• Ability to review regulatory compliance and challenge 1LoD/2LoD interpretations with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent reviews of regulatory compliance and regulatory reporting processes.
• Provide 2LoD oversight and challenge across design, implementation and governance.
• Communicate findings, risk assessments and issue remediation to senior management.
