Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Base Software System Requirements Engineer to support the development and traceability of system and sub-system requirements for the BMCM ECU. This role is critical in ensuring bi-directional alignment between system-level specifications, base software requirements, and verification artifacts, in compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE standards
Area of Responsibility
· Review and develop System and Sub-System requirements for the BMCM ECU
· Ensure bi-directional traceability between system requirements, base software
specifications, and test cases
· Collaborate with software architects and developers to align requirements with
AUTOSAR-based base software platforms
· Interpret ECU-level functional and hardware specifications to inform software
· Lead or support requirements elicitation, review, release, and change control
processes
· Maintain compliance with ISO 26262 Part 6 and ASPICE V-cycle methodologies
· Use tools such as Dassault TRM, MSOSA, or equivalent for requirements
management and traceability
· Participate in technical reviews, audits, and safety assessments as required
Knowledge / Experience
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or
· Strong experience in embedded software/system requirements engineering
· Strong background in base software development, preferably with AUTOSAR
experience
· Familiarity with automotive ECUs, microcontroller interfaces, and electronic
hardware environments
· Proven experience with requirements engineering tools and traceability
frameworks
· Working knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and ASPICE-compliant
