Job Title: Base Maintenance Planner

Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Base Maintenance Planner to ensure the continuing airworthiness of our fleet. This role involves planning and coordinating scheduled and unscheduled heavy maintenance activities, directly impacting aircraft safety, reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver Heavy Base Maintenance (HBM), including painting, repairs, and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company procedures.
• Create and manage detailed work scopes.
• Maintain accurate planning and aircraft status records.
• Oversee provisioning of materials and resources.
• Manage work package distribution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.

Requirements:

• Strong maintenance planning skills with understanding of aircraft maintenance programmes.
• Experience with hangar and slot utilisation, cost awareness, and end-of-lease planning.
• Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate to advanced); experience with AMOS and AirNavX is a plus.
• Knowledge of EASA, FOCA, and CAA regulations.
• Ability to make safety-conscious decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities and unexpected events.

Location & Hours: Based in Luton, full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with potential shift coverage (07:00-19:00). Hybrid working is supported.
