Job summary

The Cocktail Club is seeking a passionate Bartender to join our lively UK venues. You will mix and serve cocktails and other beverages, engage guests with warmth, and contribute to a memorable guest experience. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within a Nightcap brand toolkit.

Shifts include weekends, with pay starting at £10–£12.21 per hour plus tips and benefits. We offer a vibrant, inclusive culture and opportunities for skill development across our venues.

Qualifications

• Experience in cocktail bartending and ability to pour accurately is desirable.
• Strong customer service mindset with friendly and engaging presence.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy bar environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to Nightcap training programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, and beverages following recipes.
• Engage with guests, offer recommendations and ensure exceptional service.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area throughout shifts.
• Ensure consistency and quality of all drinks and uphold safety/hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service and upsell specials and events.

This is a PART TIME/FULL TIME vacancy, with shifts based over WEEKEND , and a wage starting at £10 - 12.21 per hour!

What We Need:

Our bar team consists of cocktail-making experts who not only craft our unique concoctions but do so with lightning-fast speed and precision. As a Cocktail Bartender, you'll be intuitive, socially interactive, and obsessed with the smallest details. You'll enjoy engaging with our guests and take immense pride in delivering exceptional and memorable experiences every single time.

Even if you’re new to the cocktail game, don’t worry, we have the best trainers in the industry to teach you everything you need to know about cocktails.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages to our guests, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service and recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all utensils, glassware, and ingredients are well-stocked and readily available.
• Ensure that all cocktails are prepared with consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Collaborate with the barback and other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
• Upsell and promote featured cocktails, specials, and events to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.

Skills and Experience:

• Resilient and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, hardworking and a team player.
• Confident, self-motivated, and driven professional.
• A multi-tasker who is fast and charismatic.
• Have experience with Cocktail bartending and free pouring is desired, but not essential.
• Not afraid to start a party!
