Job Description

An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Bartender to join the Food & Beverage Department at Raffles London at the OWO.

Reporting into Bar Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and mixing drinks for our guests, providing courteous and efficient service, and maintaining the highest service standards throughout each shift.

You will need to be fully knowledgeable about the menu, including presentation and garnishes, and comply with licensing laws you will be trained on.

You should be passionate about people and committed to delivering an outstanding bar experience. Attention to detail and genuine guest interaction are crucial for the success of the bar and the hotel.

This role offers a good work-life balance with operational hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 17:00 - 01:30, and Uber allowance after 00:30.

Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with the head bartender and bar manager to ensure the successful execution of the beverage program.
  • Working with the bar back team to ensure setup and MEP are up to standards.
  • Using lab equipment safely.
  • Ensuring the bar is properly set up and broken down efficiently.
  • Working hands-on across all bars and outlets.
  • Taking detailed and precise orders, communicating professionally with guests.
  • Building good guest relations, including problem-solving and handling complaints.
  • Preparing the department for service and managing time-sensitive targets.
  • Performing additional duties as required, including working in different departments or restaurants.

  • A proven track record of providing high service levels under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operation when needed.
  • Recent experience in bars, preferably in the luxury sector.
  • Good knowledge of spirits and cocktails.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering excellent service in any situation.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
