The Role: Bartender - Sports Book

The role involves engaging with guests while providing efficient and accurate beverage service with a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities:

1. Takes orders, mixes, and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures for casino floor, restaurant servers, bars, and lounges.
2. Requests identification from patrons when legal age is questioned (everyone appearing under 30 years of age).
3. Identifies when guests need to be cut off and ensures responsible serving.
4. Mixes and serves beverages in a service station capacity to cocktail and food servers in a courteous, prompt, and efficient manner.
5. Collects payment for drinks and provides receipts.
6. Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
7. Arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
8. Prepares garnishes for drinks.
9. Maintains a positive attitude and cooperates with team members.
10. Keeps the service area stocked and organized.
11. Memorizes popular drink recipes and garnishes for quick service.
12. Verifies stock levels and requisitions supplies as needed.
13. Provides exceptional customer service.
14. Follows safety rules and communicates effectively with colleagues and guests.
15. Adheres to policies and procedures.

Additional Functions:

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Prior bartender experience, preferably at front bars.
• Must obtain ABC card before employment.
• Good communication skills.
• Punctuality and ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Ability to pass background checks and obtain a DE Lottery license if on the casino floor.
• Professional appearance and appropriate attire.
• Ability to learn POS systems and guest service standards.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
