Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Good proficiency in English language, both written and spoken.
• Certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the bar area according to standards.
• Provide excellent guest service, including warm greetings.
• Prepare and serve drinks and snacks efficiently.
• Create new beverages and cocktails to promote sales.
• Handle billing accurately and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards.
• Manage stock and prepare garnishes.
• Report complaints to management and seek guest feedback.
• Clean operational equipment and implement cost-control measures.

Location

On-site in Knutsford, Cheshire, North-West England (not remote)

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the bar area according to standards and procedures
• Provide excellent guest service, including warm greetings, personalised attention, and prompt order-taking
• Prepare and serve drinks and snacks efficiently, ensuring proper temperature and quality
• Create new beverages and cocktails, upsell products, and promote food and beverage offers to maximise sales revenue
• Handle billing accurately and process payments
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Manage stock, including ordering supplies and preparing garnishes
• Report complaints, incidents, or irregularities to management and actively seek guest feedback
• Clean and maintain operational equipment and implement cost-control measures

Please note that we believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
