Job summary

Fortnum & Mason Bar at Heathrow is seeking an experienced Bartender to join the team and develop knowledge of the finest beverages offered. The role focuses on delivering an extraordinary customer experience and maintaining bar readiness for service.

The candidate should demonstrate passion for brand, menus and service, with the ability to multitask and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Bartending experience.
• Authentic and passionate understanding of brand, menus and restaurant service.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to think quickly and rationally to ever-changing situations.
• Consistently lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the team to ensure smooth running of the Bar service.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Wine Cellar, Cocktail menu and specialist beverages.
• Continually develop knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and recommended pairings.
• Look for ways to deliver more in service.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Keep Bar areas clean, tidy, stocked and ready for service.
• Create and deliver an extraordinary customer experience, meeting targets.

The Fortnum & Mason Bar is located at Heathrow Airport. A moment of relaxed style in the busy heart of Heathrow, this Bar is the perfect pre-flight destination for first class dining and cocktails. Their menu is fresh and seasonal with seafood being the outstanding element.

Fortnum & Mason are currently looking for an experienced Bartender. This is an exciting position for a Bartender looking to develop knowledge in the finest beverages offered at Fortnum & Mason.

Key Accountabilities:

• Working alongside the team to ensure smooth running of the Bar service
• Ongoing and up to date knowledge of the Wine Cellar, Cocktail menu and all other specialist beverages that the Bar offers
• Continuous improvement and development of knowledge for all wines, spirits cocktails and beverages served along with any recommended pairings
• Constantly looking for areas where you can deliver more
• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times
• Ensuring that all Bar areas are kept clean, tidy, well stocked and always ready for service
• Creating and delivering an extraordinary customer experience, meeting all targets set
• Demonstrating thorough product knowledge of wines, spirits and all beverages served
