Job summary

Daylesford Organic in the Cotswolds is seeking a friendly Bartender/Barista to join the team at our Trough Restaurant and Old Spot venues. You’ll craft exceptional coffees and beverages while delivering warm customer service in a fast-paced, guest‑centered environment.

You’ll be involved in guest welcome, order taking, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality; weekend flexibility is essential, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cafe/restaurant environment, training provided.
• Open 7 days including weekends; weekend flexibility essential.
• Strong customer service mindset and a welcoming attitude.
• First-class communication and guest‑oriented service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take orders, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Prepare coffee, tea and other beverages following established recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tables, counters and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service and adequate stock levels.
• Contribute to the Daylesford story by delivering exceptional guest experiences.

SALARY: £30,971 per annum OTE, Paid Weekly!

HOURS: 32-40 hours, including weekends.

As a Bartender/Barista, you won’t just be serving drinks you’ll be at the heart of our guest experience, crafting exceptional coffees and beverages while bringing the Daylesford story to life.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, answer questions about the menu, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as food items, following established recipes and quality standards.
• Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant by cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and the overall environment regularly.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations, including restocking supplies, assisting in inventory management, and supporting each other during busy periods.

Skills You Will Bring

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced restaurant environment as a café or restaurant team member would be highly advantageous, but not a necessity as full training will be given.
• Daylesford is open 7 days a week, so flexibility to cover a variety of shifts including weekends is essential.
