Bartender Key Responsibilities
  • Serving drinks: Mixing cocktails and other beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
  • Serving drinks quickly and efficiently.
  • Knowing the menu and recommending drinks based on customer preferences.
  • Customer service: Greeting customers and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Taking orders and processing payments.
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Verifying age requirements for alcohol purchases.
  • Bar maintenance: Keeping the bar clean and organized.
  • Restocking bar supplies and inventory.
  • Cleaning glasses and equipment.
  • Ensuring a safe and responsible drinking environment.
Waiter / Waitress
  • Customer service: Greet customers, answer questions about the menu, and provide advice on ingredients.
  • Taking orders: Take orders from customers and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serving food and drinks: Serve food and drinks in a timely manner.
  • Table service: Set and arrange tables, clear tables, and return dishes and cutlery to the kitchen.
  • Payments: Deliver checks and collect payments.
  • Customer satisfaction: Check in with customers during their meal, deal with any complaints, and make sure customers are happy.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and other serving and kitchen staff.
  • Health and safety: Adhere to all relevant health department rules and regulations.
