Job summary

Meldrum House Hotel & Golf Course is seeking a welcoming bartender to deliver warm, attentive service across our bars and food & beverage outlets, preparing and serving beverages to high standards, and sharing knowledge of whisky, wines and cocktails to enhance guest experiences.

You'll correctly process orders, maintain cleanliness, assist with stock and inventory, support colleagues during busy periods and promote hotel events to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of whisky, wines, spirits and cocktails.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive and engaging service to guests across the hotel's bars and food & beverage outlets.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards.
• Share your knowledge of whisky, wine, cocktails and local products to enhance the guest experience.
• Create and serve cocktails, coffees and speciality drinks with consistency and attention to detail.
• Accurately process orders and payments using hotel systems.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene throughout all bar areas.
• Receive and serve food orders when required.
• Assist with stock management, replenishment and inventory control.
• Support colleagues across the wider Food & Beverage operation during busy periods.
• Promote hotel events, experiences and facilities to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
