Job summary

Heckfield Place is a luxury hotel on a 438-acre estate in Hampshire. We are seeking a Bartender to join our Bar Team, delivering outstanding guest service with deep knowledge of drinks and offerings.

• Develop knowledge and abilities to improve guest experience and team performance.

Job description

Heckfield Place is a beautifully restored luxury hotel on a 438-acre estate in the English county of Hampshire. Across the Hotel we prepare food and drink that celebrates simplicity, seasonality, and a sense of place, with a focus on sustainability. It is thanks to this that we are honoured that our Marle Restaurant has been awarded a Green Michelin Star.

The Food & Beverage Department is currently looking for a Bartender to join our Bar Team.

Position responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

• Engage positively and professionally with all guests and colleagues.
• Have an excellent customer service attitude and work ethic by providing an exemplary level of service to our guests.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management.
• Have a flexible schedule that allows you to work evenings and weekends often.
• Have excellent knowledge of the food and beverages served in the F&B outlets.
• Develop your knowledge and abilities with the Bar Program, with the guidance of the House and Bars Manager.
• Maintain an immaculate work area for yourself and your colleagues, using the correct equipment in the manner you have been trained in.
• Maintain your own presentation to a high standard for our guests and colleagues.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties are carried out, and checklists filled in ready for sign-off by a senior member of the House & Bars team.
• Develop your skills inside and outside of work to improve the guest experience, your own knowledge and abilities, and the team’s performance.
