Job summary

Marston's PLC is hiring a Bartender for our pubs in Greater London. The role focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, serving drinks and food, and upselling where appropriate.

You'll be part of a fast-paced team, with opportunities to develop customer service, marketing and operational skills while being paid. Flexible weekend shifts and long-term career options are available.

We’re on the lookout for a new Bartender to join our team! Applicants must be over 18 to adhere to legislation around serving alcohol.

New to hospitality? You won’t be for long! Make a name for yourself in one of our pubs.Our Bartenders are at the heart of it all, right where the magic happens. It’s not just a shift on the bar. It’s mastering the best pint. It’s about creating those happy, memorable moments that leaves our guests coming back for more.

As part of our Bar and Waiting team you’ll:Be the face of our pubs creating and maintaining a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

• Be responsible for taking orders, serving and upselling our fantastic food and drinks
• Be passionateabout providing brilliant customer service
• Care about the wider team, turning your hand to support wherever needed
• Gain people, marketing and operational skills whilst getting paid for it!

Availability Requirements
Please note that this vacancy is primarily for weekend work. Typical shifts are:
Friday: 6pm until close (usually around 1am)
Saturday: 6pm until close
Sunday: Occasional shifts between 12pm and 11:30pm
Additional mid-week shifts may also be available for suitable candidates, particularly during the busy festive period.
As part of our hospitality team, successful applicants will be expected to be available for key trading periods, including every weekend throughout December, as well as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve. While you would not normally be required to work all of these dates, flexibility during these peak periods is essential.
This role is ideal for someone looking for regular weekend work and who enjoys being part of a fast-paced, energetic team.
